Hotel Date with Gloria [for drkenison]

Weird had decided to take up Aarne's advice and surprise Gloria in the hotel room with a bottle of sparkling wine. Nothing else though---no perfume or anything that would suggest he wanted to bribe her for sex. That wasn't what this was about. He was in love and he decided he wanted to take the next step in their relationship. That's if Gloria felt comfortable with it. He wasn't the kind of man to push a lady into anything and Gloria wasn't the type of woman to let a man do that.

Adjusting his tie on his shirt, he held the bottle of sparkling wine in his right arm as he knocked the hotel room. Just in case she wasn't decent. Weird was a gentleman after all and some things would never change. Out of all the band members in the whole hotel Weird seemed to be the most prude and proper. Even Mick would think this true.

"Gloria? Are you decent?"

Ok, time for the second date.

Gloria was spending the night in to catch up on the reading for research. She's in her usual lounge wear and curled up in a chair when she hears the knock. The voice gets a giggle as she looks up from the reading.

"This is your hotel room too. You don't have to knock to come in." Gloria is amused but it is also one of the things she loves about the bassist. His politeness never faltered unless it was necessary. She had heard a few stories about him punching someone in the face or what not to protect others but in general he was a gentle and open man.

Weird walked into the room and his eyes snapped upon the gown she was currently wearing whilst curled up in the chair with her book. She looked so beautiful as always and the bassist found himself staring a little more than usual as he closed the door behind them.

"You look beautiful. Your gown---it shows your figure off nicely."

He went to get some glasses as he popped off the champagne cork and began pouring them out a drink. This was something Weird wanted to do more of since Gloria was special to him. Even though he'd known her for a good few months now he still aimed to please.

"I thought you'd like a drink with me tonight."

"Thank you." She blushed a little as she set aside her book. "I've worn it before but I think it was when you were so tired you came back to the hotel and went right to sleep."

She stand up to help him, or at least retrieve her own glass. As she comes up beside him she lays one hand on his shoulder while watching him pour.

"I need to take a break." She smiles and kisses his cheek, glad for the distraction after reading for so long that her legs were aching a little from being folded up under her for so long.

"I get tired from performances or trying to keep Gilly in order with his crazy Swede lover."

Weird shook his head and laughed softly because this was all too true of late. The bands got crazy and Gilly ended up getting drunk or high and running amok with Hunter down the halls of the hotel. Sane people like Tom and Weird had to deal with the aftermath of the craziness.

The shoulder touch felt good as he offered her a light kiss on the cheek whilst clinking his glass of champagne with hers. It was sort of like a second date in New York in a fancy hotel. They were on tour and these were the special times he wanted to remember with Gloria.

"Taking a break is always good. You deserve it since I often see you buried in your books."

Weird watched and knew.

Clinking glasses, She took a sip of the champagne then leaned her head on Weird's shoulder.

"Judith ran into a problem with our research. I've been trying to read what I can to see what is happening but I haven't found anything yet." He deserved an explanation even if she doesn't want to talk to him about her research right now.

"Are the others finally locked away in their rooms for the evening?" She knew too, but there always came a time of the night where even the craziest of the band made it back to their rooms for sleep or sex or whatever else they got up to.

"Maybe I can help offer you a distraction from your research problems?"

Weird liked how she rested her head on his shoulder because it felt so right. He took one of her hands and kissed it gently before moving to peck her cheek. As for the others, he'd seen Hunter and Gilly sneak away to their room, no doubt for more spanking sessions. Mick and Ziggy had hardly left theirs so that meant more sex in their room. The crazy Fin and his Brit boyfriend were getting drunk out in the corridor last time he saw. The punks were in their room probably drunk and smashing furniture again. The Dane and Billy were somewhere around too.

"Everyone else is busy or in bed. Or both."

He smiled slyly and then sipped some more of his champagne. She really was so beautiful and he couldn't help but stare at her face and features.

"What kind of distraction?" She laughed quietly while sipping at the champagne. The peck on the cheek felt good and she turned to give Weird a kiss on his cheek in return.

Then he had her giggling. "Everyone but you? What ever have you been up to?"

Another sip and another kiss on his cheek as she leaned in to his shoulder a little more. Weird might not ever be what she considered traditionally handsome but he was a good man. Honest, sweet, hard working, and those things mattered more. She gently stroked his other shoulder while leaning against him. They had gotten so close in a short time because of the tour. In truth, she hadn't noticed it at first but watching the others find that closeness so quickly had Gloria seeing it more clearly in her own life.

At the question regarding the distraction Weird blushed a little but didn't turn away or back down, instead he kissed her on the lips once more a little more passionately this time. Perhaps this would help answer the question for her. He offered her a sheepish smile when he broke off.

"I could be your distraction."

It was a bold move but one that was well earned after many months of getting to know her. Weird wanted to get intimate but only if Gloria was ready and felt comfortable being with a man. Taking a gulp of drink, the bassist then nuzzled into her neck, inhaling her scent which he loved so much.

She set her glass down and turned, giggling as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"You'll be my distraction?" She teases. "Like the others get distracted?"

She doesn't mind what he means, though she's feeling some nervous butterflies. She was definitely falling in love with the bassist and physical intimacy was an important part of relationships for her, and she imagined it was for the Brit too. Another giggle escapes as his sideburns tickle her neck. Gloria isn't in a rush for anything but she's happy yo see this night go where ever is natural.

"Yes. Sort of but less of the crazy chaos that comes with them."

Weird was referring to the chaos of Aarne and Hunter. All the Scandis were fucking crazy and the bassist knew this. As for bringing up intimacy with Gloria, Weird wanted to do it in a romantic way. He gently stroked her cheek and pushed a strand of hair away from her face.

"Would you like that?"

He kissed her cheek and then gently allowed his fingers to come up and caress the nape of her neck softly.

"I can't imagine you running naked in the halls screaming."

Gloria continued to giggle until her hand came up to cover her mouth to shield the giggling. She leaned into the touch to her cheek and slipped her arms around Wierd's neck as her cheeks flush pink.

"I don't know..." She tries her best not to laugh. "A rockstar and a nice girl like me?"

The giggles barely contained she leans in and kisses his lips gently.

"You're bloody right about that. You won't find me stripping off and going running down corridors like a mad man. I'd prefer to stay in this room with you spending some quality time."

Weird smiled fondly and then kissed the corner of her lips. He loved her. Gloria wasn't like all the other girls he'd date before and certainly nothing like the groupies who were only interested in sex and money. She was a real lady.

"Why not? I'm sure you can be a naughty girl too."

The bassist smirked and then kissed her a little deeper, stroking her cheek. He wanted to make love to her and wondered if she was ready to take that step yet in their relationship.

"Will you spend the night with me tonight in my bed?"

Gloria giggled and covered her mouth with a hand as she leaned in to Weird. "I'm not that tame of a girl."

She returned that kiss to the corner of his lips. The butterflies were getting the better of her and leading to some nervous giggles. "Maybe in private."

The deeper kiss felt wonderful and she leaned into it before he pulled away to talk again. "You could have asked sooner."

They had been taking it slow because they were from such different walks of life but Gloria was fascinated by the differences. He was a sweet man even if he was so different.

"You're not?"

Weird hadn't expected Gloria to be such a flirt but now they were in private it was another story and he loved how close they were now with one another. The bassist stroking down the side of her face with his fingers, loving how she smelled with her perfume on. Her lips felt so soft against his as Weird kissed her once more.

"I should have asked sooner and that was my mistake."

Often wanting to be viewed as a gentleman, Weird now wanted to make the move and sleep with Gloria. Mick had urged his friend on but Weird had just acted a little too slow. Gloria wanted this now and so did Weird.

"You are so beautiful."

The bassist's fingers now slowly snaking up Gloria's thigh, hinting that he might want to touch her intimately.

Gloria smiled. "At home, Judith and I had friends more like Viktor than the traditional men."

Maybe that would be a surprise to Weird but hopefully not in a bad way. She didn't want the bassist to feel bad about taking so long to ask. Nothing about tonight should be guilt inducing.

"I don't mind that we've gone slow. I've enjoyed every moment getting to know you." Her breath hitched from the hand on her thigh but she wanted to make sure he felt welcome. A flirty grin on her lips and a slight blush on her cheeks, Gloria slipped off the semi-sheer robe to stand there with Weird in only her undergarments. Weird was so much of a gentleman that she wasn't even sure that he had seen what she wore despite getting dressed in the same room.
